Service overview
Full activation requires completed training, relevant experience or the ANCHOR-provided supervised route, competency assessment and all compliance requirements. ANCHOR supervision costs £550, or £450 for school-funded graduates. It involves six one-hour observations across six different families, with one session observed per family.
Participation
A separately approved trainee status permits supervised practice only after trainee checks, insurance and consent arrangements are operational. Trainees on the ANCHOR-supervised route complete six one-hour observations across six different families, one session per family, and never work alone with a child. A responsible parent, carer or school staff member remains present. Registered practitioners complete the additional learning, observations and competency assessment before full activation.
Responsibilities
The first full year after register activation is free, then membership is £399 annually. A 10% commission applies to ANCHOR bookings from the outset. Membership is intended to include ANCHOR-arranged insurance, compliance, six remote supervision and CPD sessions annually, listing and framework updates. Insurance is a pre-launch requirement, not a claim of current cover.
Further information
The public register and live bookings will open only after genuine practitioner profiles have been approved and activated. Practitioners choose their own availability and final registered rates. ANCHOR work is booked through the platform; separate private practice outside the ANCHOR name is not subject to ANCHOR commission.
