Children’s needs are often visible before they are formally identified. ANCHOR Inclusion® works in that gap, with the adults around the child, to help support begin earlier.

Our parent workshops, practitioner training and early years and school support promote inclusive learning and access to vocational development. We work towards environments where children can participate across mainstream, specialist and alternative provision, nurseries and home education.
Early help aims to reduce barriers before unmet needs widen differences in opportunity. We support participation and inclusion, including for disabled children and adults.
We recognise unpaid caring and the pressures it places on families. Our parent programmes and plans for wraparound, respite and holiday support aim to share that responsibility, not add to it.
Our educational practice and family support promote wellbeing for children and the adults around them. We do not provide clinical treatment.
We widen access to vocational development for people whose capability may not be reflected in conventional employment history: disabled people, people managing chronic illness, carers, community volunteers and adults aged 18–24 who are not currently in education, employment or training.
Our pathway supports progression towards flexible, meaningful work. Certification does not guarantee self-employment, register approval, clients or income.
For context, ONS estimated that 981,000 UK young people aged 16–24 were not in education, employment or training in April–June 2026 (13.0%). This national age range differs from our adult-only pathway. Read the ONS August 2026 bulletin.
