Chatbot policy
1. What the assistant is
The Ask ANCHOR assistant on this website is an automated tool. It answers questions about ANCHOR Inclusion's services using information ANCHOR has published or prepared for it. It is not a person, and it does not give advice about any individual child, family, school or situation.
2. What it is not
The assistant is not an emergency service, a safeguarding service, a clinical or diagnostic service, or a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999. To raise a concern about a child's safety, contact the child's school designated safeguarding lead, your local authority children's services, or the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000.
3. What not to enter
Please do not enter children's names, dates of birth, diagnoses, medical histories, school names or detailed safeguarding information. General information is enough. If you need to share detail, use the contact form or email info@anchorinclusion.co.uk.
4. How your conversation is processed
Conversations are processed by a third-party artificial intelligence provider on ANCHOR's behalf, under contract, to generate replies. ANCHOR stores conversations so that it can respond to requests, improve the assistant and meet its legal obligations. Where a conversation ends in a request for the team, a copy is placed on ANCHOR's internal task list so that a member of the team can reply. Retention periods, lawful bases and your rights are set out in full in our Privacy Policy, which applies to the assistant in the same way as to every other part of this site. Please read that policy.
5. Accuracy and terms
The assistant is designed to give accurate information but it can make mistakes. Where it refers to prices, fees, refunds, cancellation or any other term, the published Terms and Conditions and the relevant policy page are the authoritative text and take precedence over anything the assistant says. Please read the full agreement before purchasing. Nothing the assistant says forms a contract.
6. Decisions
The assistant does not make any decision about you. It does not assess applications, determine eligibility or set prices. Any decision affecting you is made by a named member of ANCHOR's team.
7. Content it will not provide
The assistant does not provide the content of ANCHOR's training, frameworks or assessment materials, which are unpublished, and it does not provide information about individual people or schools.
8. Contact and complaints
Questions about this policy or about a conversation with the assistant: info@anchorinclusion.co.uk. Complaints follow our Complaints and Concerns policy.
